Bulldog Power is a combustion turbine power plant located in Brazoria County near Sweeney, TX . Nightpeak Energy began developing Bulldog in 2023. The project will improve ERCOT grid reliability, will provide numerous construction jobs, and will support a number of ongoing operations and maintenance jobs throughout it’s life. The project is under development and targeted to begin operation in 2028 or earlier.
