Chris Rega is a power generation industry leader with a successful record leading teams in the engineering, procurement, construction, and operation of power plants of various technologies. Chris has proven track record of developing greenfield projects through financing and commercial operation.
Prior to joining Nightpeak Energy, Chris served as Senior Director of Project Execution at Cypress Creek Renewables, a leading solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) facility developer and owner / operator. In this role, Chris led a team responsible for the construction of both PV solar and BESS facilities in Texas, Illinois, and New York.
Before joining Cypress Creek, Chris served in various other leadership positions including Senior Vice President of Engineering, Construction and Operations for NTE Energy, a successful thermal energy developer and owner / operator. In this role, Chris managed teams responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operation of large gas-fired energy facilities in numerous regions in the U.S.
Earlier in his career, Chris led various technical teams with other firms spanning the power industry including InterGen (IPP), Siemens (gas turbine manufacturer), and Parsons (EPC contractor).
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
