Nightpeak Energy acquired the Saguaro Power Company in 2023. The plant was originally commissioned in 1991 as a combined heat and power plant, but now only sells power as a combined cycle power plant. Saguaro provides critical reliability to the Las Vegas Valley region and supports the broader Western US grid’s transition to renewable energy.
