Chris Pollak

Director of EPC

Chris Pollak oversees project execution of Nightpeak’s development portfolio of conventional power and battery storage assets. With a background in electrical and control systems engineering, he brings experience spanning more than 15 years across a range of energy projects – thermal simple and combined cycle, battery energy storage, both onshore and offshore wind, and large-scale solar.

Chris began his career in 2009 performing detailed design of simple-cycle and cogeneration projects at Parsons Brinckerhoff (now WSP), an EPC contractor.  Following this, Chris spent several years in owner’s engineering and independent engineering roles before moving to project development, construction, and operations in 2016 at NTE Energy (now d/b/a Vitis Energy).  At NTE, Chris provided oversight of the construction of two 485 MW combined cycle projects in North Carolina and Ohio.  Immediately prior to joining Nightpeak, Chris spent time at Orsted on the South Fork Wind project and Onward Energy building out their development portfolio.

Years of Chris’ career has been spent dispatched at construction projects facilitating interfaces between development, engineering, construction, and operations disciplines.  Chris earned a B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Suffolk University and M.S. Degree in Engineering Management from Northeastern University.
