Greg Blue serves as Director of Development for Nightpeak Energy. He is responsible for Project Development of hybrid power plants and stand-alone energy storage projects in the Southwest and ERCOT. Greg has over 25 years of experience in the independent energy industry including business development, project development, market development, transmission interconnections, and regulatory and government affairs. This very broad background allows Greg to be successful in advising on market strategies and performing greenfield development activities such as project site identification, site control, project permitting, and grid interconnection.
Prior to Nightpeak Energy, Greg served as Vice President of Project Development for Broad Reach Power, a leading battery energy storage developer, owner, and operator of utility-scale battery storage projects. Greg was responsible for ERCOT while at Broad Reach and developed one of the largest battery storage project pipelines in the country. He has a proven track record and has participated in strategic initiatives at the local, state, and federal levels and utilizes a collaborative relationship-based approach for success in his endeavors.
Greg has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas State University
